Automate invoicing and simplify processing - Build and streamline processes with automation Imagine you have to add new customer accounts to a portal that doesn't communicate with the web portal, two disparate systems. In this case, it's your internal CRM and the Contoso invoicing app. What's the best way to sync them up so you don't have to do twice the work? Microsoft Power Automate of course! It's fast, easy, and secure. Check this out. Let's create a flow called "add new customers" by launching the flow console....

..adding the run application action... ...then clicking save. This will let you pull new customer files needed from your system store them in a list variable called "files" and add each file path to the variable current item. From here, turn on the recorder and click on accounts to make sure it's processing in the right tab..

Next, click on new record and add the account name primary contact. Hit save. From here, click on finish and exit. We just recorded all the steps to pull each customer file from your system, no matter how many there are. Instead of passing hard-coded values like account number or email, let's change these so that we go to our text list which will be the first item or account name. The second item will be email address.

Click save. We can see the file path is now current item in the destination file processed. And voila! The flow now automatically pulls the new customer data from your internal system and seamlessly imports it into Contoso invoicing. More importantly, so you don't have to! One more way Power Automate lets you work smarter and be more productive. To learn more, go to: aka.ms/PowerAutomate/Win11/GetStarted.
